I recommend you so much movie based on the story of slaves brought to US on ship called Amistad. Very moving picture showing every detail of slavery in American culture. (and of course many great actors such as Djimon Hounsou, Morgan Freeman, Anthony Hopkins and Matthew McConaughey).
